Chord Circuit · Privacy Policy
App: Chord Circuit for Android (com.chordcircuit.app) · Last updated: 30 October 2026
In short: Chord Circuit does not collect, store on any server, or share any personal data. Everything you make stays on your own device.
What the app stores
To remember your work, the app saves the following only on your device, in the app's own private storage:
- your saved sequences, drum beats, bass lines and strum patterns;
- your sound patches and settings (key, tempo, layout, colour theme and similar).
This data never leaves your device. It is removed if you clear the app's data or uninstall the app.
MIDI files
If you choose to export a sequence as a MIDI file, the app saves that file where you choose: your Downloads folder, or another place you pick in your phone's file picker. The app does not send the file anywhere.
What the app does not do
- No account or sign-in.
- No advertising and no ad tracking.
- No analytics, crash reporting or other tracking tools.
- No collection of contacts, location, photos, microphone recordings or any other personal information.
- No internet connection is needed: the app works entirely offline.
- No data is sold or shared with anyone.
Permissions
Chord Circuit does not request any special Android permissions.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because it collects no personal information at all.
Google Play
If you download Chord Circuit from Google Play, Google handles the download and may collect information under its own privacy policy. That is outside the app's control.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
