App: Chord Circuit for Android (com.chordcircuit.app) · Last updated: 5 November 2026

In short: Chord Circuit is a music app for playing and recording your own music. What you make with it is yours. Please use it fairly, and know that the app is provided as it is.

Who we are

Chord Circuit is made by an independent developer in Sweden. These terms apply to the Chord Circuit app for Android, distributed through Google Play.

Using the app

Your music

The chord progressions, sequences, beats, bass lines, strums, sound patches and recordings you make with Chord Circuit are yours. You may use them however you like, including in songs you release, perform or sell. You don't need to credit the app, but it's always appreciated.

Purchases and refunds

Payment, refunds and any free trials are handled by Google Play under Google's own terms and refund policy. This doesn't limit any rights you have under consumer law where you live.

Your data

Chord Circuit doesn't collect personal data. Everything you make stays on your device. See the privacy policy for details.

Updates and availability

The app may be updated to fix problems or add features. Features can change over time, and while we try to keep your saved work compatible, please export important progressions as MIDI as a backup.

No warranty

Chord Circuit is provided "as is". We work hard to make it reliable, but we can't promise it will always be free of errors or work on every device. As far as the law allows, the developer isn't responsible for indirect losses, such as lost work, that come from using the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.

Law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. If you live elsewhere in the EU, you keep the protections of the consumer laws of your own country.
